Happy, welcoming, comunidad, proud, empoderamiento, beautiful, cultura, warm, nature are all words used to describe the Latino Outdoors logo.

Inspired by Aztec codices, the design symbolizes the LO mission to give voice to Nature and community.  The sun glyph embodies the empowering warmth of the outdoors, with compass-rays giving guidance and direction. The speech glyph (which for some evokes images of clouds or water) is an invitation for all to speak out — for our peoples and our environment.
